After a year of crafting & engaged interest in genuine, hand-made jewelry, my ETSY SHOP, Mynd’s Eye Creative, has finally been launched!

My latest & featured project (displayed above, & which I have been so anxious to release!) is an apothecary glass bottle pendant w/a genuine Sun Conure feather, glass bead & necklace. 

My Sun Conure, Mango, has shed most of his green, baby feathers & has grown into his beautiful, adult yellow ones (if you haven’t met Mango yet, check out his story: http://gracreates.tumblr.com/post/18156208723/mango). Sort of like saving a baby’s hair from the “first trim,” I have saved nearly ALL of Mango’s colorful feathers as I find them around the house or in his birdcage.

As seen in the displayed photos, each necklace has a unique glass bead. There are  two lengths—18” & 22”

Because a majority of his baby feathers were green, I have a very limited amount of orange & yellow feathers, which is why they are a little bit pricier than the green ones. 

I hand-made these necklaces from scratch—i.e. trimming necklace length, adding jump rings, eye pins, clasps, beads/stones, etc.

All materials are original, & no glues or adhesives were used.

Comes packaged in a small paper bag w/bird stamp. The bird has all of Mango’s colors!
