After a few years of crafting and genuine interest in handmade products, Grace opened her Etsy shop with the purpose of not only displaying her work, but also to fundraise for her Summer 2012 Study Abroad trip to Tanzania, a country in the East coast of Africa, and place which soon changed her whole life’s perspective. After fundraising $1,400 through her crafts and with the help of friends and family, she was able to embark on an inspiring journey, which has led her to continue her artistry in hopes of fundraising for her trip to volunteer abroad in 2013, after graduation.
